I Like It. What Is It?

A simple ecommerce solution allowed anthony to market and sell his own products direct to his fans, moving his output from ad commissions to self authored products.

The Client

Graphic artist, printmaker and designer Anthony Burrill. Known for his persuasive up-beat style of visual communication, Anthony’s work is held in the permanent collections of London’s Victoria and Albert Museum and the CooperHewitt National Design Museum in New York.

He has exhibited widely around the world, in museums and galleries including the Barbican, the Walker Art Center, and the Museum of the Image in Breda.

The Brief

With his creative output ever changing, and his activity on multiple social channels, Anthony needed his online presence to build on the previous site we created for him.

To evolve with Anthony, the new site had to become a single platform from which to communicate everything to his audience directly – from commercial projects and exhibitions, to publishing and education.

Our Solution

A realtime, expansive view of Anthony’s practise as a fully responsive site.

  1. Merges social feeds from Twitter, Instagram and Flickr with case studies and shop products to build an energetic home page.

  2. Can be filtered through the navigation so that the homepage timeline of what he’s creating and doing is narrowed down to sections chosen by the user.

  3. Includes extra images in the shop to show details and the process behind the prints, as well as an updated shopping basket experience.

  4. Moves beyond a portfolio, presenting only key projects.

  5. Expands the information about Anthony himself.
